Hi There,
A great question. According to the RCM website Grade 8 piano and Grade 2 rudiments qualify you for a Grade 12 high school arts credit, while Grade 6 piano and Grade 1 Rudiments count as a Grade 10 credit. I believe that this would be the equivalent of one full year high school course. Always best to check with your school guidance counselor as accreditation may vary among schools and districts, although it should not.

What if you completed the Grade 8 and Theory requirements with Voice and Piano? Two credits?

As for whether you can have more than one credit this way, i am not sure. It would be best to check with your school guidance councellor, or contact the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and ask them.
